Statistical Shape Modelling: Digitizing Human Anatomy

Marcel Lüthi and Ghazi Bouabene from the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Basel introduce computer-based modelling of objects and organs with the open source software Scalismo. The course provides a theoretical as well as practical insight into this forward-looking technique, which is used, for example, for the production of medical implants.
